The new Elite Dangerous game gives players the chance to go out and explore the galaxy that I gazed up at as an astronomy-fanatic teenager. The detail of the stellar environment has never been in a game before, and to be honest looks even more believable than the real-life Voyager pictures of the outer planets. Wasp-18
Definitely one for the list WASP-18 330 ly from Sol.
The closely orbiting gas giant of 10 Jovian masses is prematurely aging its stellar companion by interrupting the magnetic fields.
