A Noob Pirate Tale

I found this on Reditt but thought it was so funny I'd keep a note of it on here too!

You interdicted me in my Type 6 with 2 of your buddies, one of you in an Eagle and two of you in Sidewinders. You told me to drop cargo "bcuz ur outnumbrd 3 2 1" (and it took me a minute to decide whether you were counting down or meant "three to one").

I knew you were rookies from the ships you flew. I knew you were rookies from the way you wobbled after the 3 tons of consumer electronics I dropped. I knew you were rookies from the fact that your two wingmen turned to watch you scoop cargo instead of keeping me in their sights with guns deployed.

I knew you were rookies, and I still slaughtered you. While you were distracted, I was bringing my massive Type 6 to bear. While you edged slowly closer to the cargo, I was pressing boost. While you were probably feeling triumphant that you'd scooped the loot, I was slamming into you with full pips to shields and crushing you like a bug.

Your Sidewinder exploded and I cackled, thrilled that I'd not only smashed you, but also managed to clip the Eagle and send him spinning off to the side, already having taken out his shields and a few percent of his hull.

To his credit, your other Sidey wingman immediately started shooting at me. To his shame, he tried to joust me in a head-on confrontation even after seeing what I'd just done to you. (He did not survive.)

To the best of my knowledge, your Eagle buddy was too shellshocked to even shoot at me as I charged my drives and jumped away. I left him alone in the void, surrounded by the wreckage of your wing, with a stark reminder:

This is Elite: Dangerous.
