If you haven't seen it, this was from an Episode of Red Dwarf called Timeslides which was in Series 3. Dave Lister goes back in time in an attempt to change his destiny and avoid ending up on Red Dwarf. The fact that he became totally rich and could afford a 30 foot statue peeing champagne in his courtyard was just a side effect.
